m.ewaldBUILDING PTY LTD is a family-owned and run business based in Brisbane. We service all areas of Brisbane with many of our projects featured around Holland Park, Tarragindi and Holland Park West.
Michael is the Director of m.ewaldBUILDING PTY LTD.
Michael is a hands-on Carpenter and Builder, having completed his apprenticeship (Carpenter/Joiner) in 2003. He has extensive experience in many different areas of the building industry and started m.ewaldBUILDING in 2009.
m.ewaldBUILDING Working Areas:
- Home renovations on all homes old or new. Experienced in many modern architectural sheet and strip finishes.
- Renovations on Queenslander style homes, some over 130 years old with heavy heritage and character controls, through to modern brick and tile style homes
- Repairs and maintenance work, from changing a front door lock to replacing timber decking
- Termite Damage Repairs to bring at risk homes up to code and provide a safe living environment
- Specialist in all external timber stairs both traditional and modern
- General building, m.ewaldBUILDING has a vast support network of quality trades including; Electricians, Plumbers, Cabinet Makers, Interior Designers and more!
Some of these relationships have been formed over 15+ years, resulting in fantastic communication and understanding between the trades.
Michael has been a student of the Queenslander style house, spending approximately 80% of his time renovating and extending Queenslanders. And he is a master at crafting any element of your home especially relating to timber.
Originally working as a carpenter, leading hand and finally site foreman for another leading Brisbane builder, Michael gained many skills in the art of replicating and blending to achieve a seamless transition from old to new. These skills are rare, hard to find and in high demand, so Michael can be choosy about the clients he works with. If you expect quality and attention to detail, chances are you will be a good match.
